- He is the grandson of Order of Canada recipient Edith Lando as well as son to Order of Canada recipient Morton Beiser. His mother is Canadian socialite Roberta Lando Beiser, and brother to David(youth worker) and Vince Beiser(journalist/screen writer), and is cousin to Academy Award nominated Peter Lando. Beiser moved from Boston to France at age six, and then to Vancouver, British Columbia at age seven. He studied theatre at Concordia University in Montreal, and later attended the William Davis Centre for Actors' Study in Vancouver, where he studied under William B. Davis and Mark Bauer. Brendan currently makes his living as an actor/voice over artist, is single, umpires the Mabel League and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.[1]
